Broken windshields, wasted money, lost drivers license and debit cards resurfacing after I replaced them, pool fixed and balanced only 1 hr later a freak storm blew 1,298,290 leaves in it. UGH! Plans made, plans broken, plans remade, plans re broken. Just life. I am alive. I guess that's good enough right?
Let me tell you what else , I have had my mind blown 5 different times this week. Count em FIVE!!
I had someone come out to me, then went on to tell me not one, but 3 people I knew very very well that they have been with. One was my ex from high school so I am now officially a FAG HAG!! They are sending me the trophy and the shirt. WOOT!! LOL
Anyone that knows me knows I am a very laid back person. I really do not care where you came from, what position you like in the bedroom or which side of the bread you like buttered, so I took it pretty good except DAMN IT ROGER YOU SCREWED MY EX BOYFRIEND AND MY COUSIN (separate people, please don't think this blog is THAT crazy) ?!?!
So my cousin, on my Dad's side, she married an awesome man about 25 years ago. He is from California and was big into theater, he was quite the thespian and he also did makeup on the side. A jack of all trades.
Well Rog informed me that he was at a gay bar in Little Rock and lo and behold there was my cousin-in-law. He confessed to Rog he was bi and my cousin knows it (they have an 18 yr old daughter) and that he always had a crush on him. Then he proceeded to stick his tongue down Rog's throat.
Rog said he was amazed but that my cuz was "too gay" for him. Rog has issues. He is turned on by straight men. I love him but he's a nut! LOL So I am trying to process a man I knew for 25 yrs. Pillar of the community and church, keeping this secret and my cousin for living with it. Wow. Blown mind.
Then one of my good friends that I have spoken to at least 5 times since Christmas called to tell me her husband had been in prison for almost a freakin' year!! This is the one I told you about the sting and the 14 yr old posing as a cop 2 yrs ago? Yeah. He went down folks and not only that? She had been having an affair?!?!?!
Edited to clarify: She had this affair nearly the year after he had been gone to prison. She is divorcing him. Has been a single Mom over a year.
This is the most gentle, innocent soul and she is doing this. I have to say, I was giving her fist pumps while talking to her on the phone. Not that I condone adultery but sometimes, things are justified. Please do not look at me like that. I can't help it, her husband is SUCH a douche' he deserved it when she went down there and told him. I didn't do it to even the score but hey, I did what you did, except mine is very legal age and very real.
Well her lover broke up with her via email yesterday and I had to deal with 24 hours of crying and texts and calls and crisis...then the next night I got on FB and lo and behold another friend's boyfriend was posting Zoosk "likes" left and right! WTF? Men are SCUM!!! So we have a close bond, and always are honest so I just put it out there. Um, you need to check this shit out. She did, he denied, she don't believe him, how can you deny something you have to LOG INTO and hit a button? He just forgot he synced up with FB is all. BUSTED! I hate it.
Then while I was chatting with her, the Zoosk cheater got on and started chatting me up, I was playing it cool like I didn't know a thing. But then Rog, (mentioned at the beginning, sorry my A.D.D. is in high gear today) my high school running buddy/best male friend now gayer than Elton John's fanny pack, came on and chatted with me 3 hours, we reminisced about high school and told all kinds of dirt on each other and classmates. It was a blast. I was laughing so hard I had sore stomach muscles this morning. Rog is kinda awesome. He used to write storylines for Days of our Lives. He now has M.S. and is trying to go to school to be an R.N. He rocks my socks off! Love you man!!
Anyway, ahem. I have lots of plans and hopefully unlike last week they won't be broken. Saturday night I was supposed to go have some deck and drink time with my Lori Jane but alas, Drew's work said FUCK YOU and I didn't get to go.
Later that night, not one not two but 7 people on FB were bragging about how great they felt, what a nice evening drinking with friends. Then my little sister sends me a text that puzzled the shit outta me.
It said: "Although I wish they would have waited till after three drinks to make me bless peoples crab with a butter knife wand !"
I texted back. "Sis are you ok?" It was her birthday and she is NOT a drinker so I was a little concerned.
She wrote back, "Oh you didn't get the picture? Wait a second."
Soo.. I laughed and laughed, if you knew my stick in the mud Sissy you would of too.
Today I finally got back on my WII Fit and I had lost 10 lbs!! WOOHOO!! I took a pic to document after my first workout in (mumble mumble mumble)
But the point is, no double chin. You can see my neck! And tone! And muscles! WOOO!
Oh and speaking of weight loss...take a gander at my girl!!
100 lbs down! Damn she is hot! I have got to get on the ball so I can stand by her and not look like the ugly step sister! Heh.
I will be posting some pics soon that Athina gave me. They went to a family reunion in Missouri and one of their cousins boyfriend is a professional photog and he snapped some beautiful candids of our boys, who, by the way, start PreSchool and Pre-K MONDAY OMG!!!!!!!!
My Mom is having a stress test as soon as insurance ok's it. They aren't sure what in the world is all wrong still but she may be forced to retire and sell her home in November. I can't blog about it right now, I am trying to be positive.
I also have had some demons to deal with whilst dealing with my friend's problems, they brought back things I had rather of forgotten but thanks to my friends keeping me busy, it probably won't take long to get shoved to the back recesses of my mind!
Well I need to get on this housework. I got drinks and dinner with LaDonna Saturday, Kansas concert Saturday night with my friend Michelle, Drinks poolside with Lori on Sunday and Adriana is coming to spend the night Monday or Wednesday.
I have plans to see my girls Tammy and gang in Texas first weekend of April and the best, ABSOLUTE best, is Lori and I are planning to meet up with dear sweet friend (and reader) Lark this time next year in Florida!! I just can't believe all my luck lately. It has done wonders for me. I can't tell you how important and loved my friends are as well as all of you sitting here reading right now.

I really enjoyed this post. And the more different we are the more alike we are. My younger brother is gay and he said his fantasy is to have a straight man. Me? I’ll take a woman anyway they come. Also, I have been going to lunch with a bunch of my old high school friends and it is a hoot to visit with all those old people.
