How about some good news?

First off, Lori's Gran, who is 93 yrs old, was in congestive heart failure, had a Stroke Monday, potassium levels soaring, sodium plunging, on ventilator, feeding tube, heart arrthymia, etc.
They shocked her heart yesterday and all went back.
CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?
She is 93.
She comes home tomorrow.
I am not religious but DANG what just happened there folks? I don't know but I like it, I like it a lot!

Then I get my final results in from my bloodwork.
I am ok.
As long as these new meds do their job, all I have abnormal at this point is too much protein in my urine and uncontrolled blood sugar and high cholesterol.
The LDL is supposedly messing with my control of blood sugar, the new R (rapid acting insulin) is keeping my sugar lower already even when eating. The cholesterol meds lower my numbers (or raise them on that one) and I should feel better.
I have to go in to a specialist and also there is a possibility I have Celiac Disease or some other similar that is keeping the insulin from absorbing and treating me. I don't want to have something like that but if it is something I can help and control to make me better, I am ready.

So not out of this ride yet, but getting some answers.

I am content with that.

Sounds like good news all the way around. You suff is pretty much 'normal' for a type 1 diabetic. You'll do fine because I said you would. I'm positive that way.
