This week Lori's Granny got put in the heart hospital. She is going downhill pretty fast, it is up in the air on what is going to happen.
She is 93 and been in good health til the past year. I think it's a given she will not be able to live on her own anymore.
It is a blessing to live that long and still mow your yard, drive yourself, clean your house etc. But I know it is also very hard to lose a grandparent. Especially when, just like me, the grandmother was your mother.
So yesterday, Lori took a break and came out to spend the day with us. We stayed in the pool all day drinking drinks, soaking up sun and talking. We spent the evening doing the same. Drew went to town and surprised us with bbq supplies and a big chocolate cake! He grilled for us, put our tiki torches out and we had a night swim.
Today Adriana is coming over and maybe spending the night, Lori might come back over too. I know it is Father's Day but we are giving Drew the gift of estrogen since all I ever got was testosterone 24/7. Heh.
Cam is in the desert training and so we don't have the boys or him. We will celebrate later.
Life is ok right now. Nothing exciting but nothing bad going on. I will take that.

I'll take no excitement anyday, because when there is excitment around here someone is usually hurt. Glad you had a nice visit.
Please relay my sympathies to Lori. Her grandmother sounds like an incredible woman.
